Product Overview

Yang Zhou LV is a famouse rare Chinese green tea from Yangzhou city. Yangzhou, formerly romanized as Yangchow, is a prefecture-level city in central Jiangsu, China. Sitting on the north bank of the Yangtze. Historically, Yangzhou was one of the wealthiest cities in China, known at various periods for its great merchant families, poets, artists, and scholars. Its name (lit. "Rising Prefecture") refers to its former position as the capital of the ancient Yangzhou prefecture in imperial China.

The plucking of this tea is carried out at Ming Qian period in early spring when the tea buds were very tender and rich in nutrients. Only the one bud and one leaf or one bud with two leaves is allowed to be hand-plucked for making this tea. For making this tea, the plucking and processing procedures must be completed in the same day. The finished tea leaves are fine and straight and have combined not only green color, but also strong fragrance. This tea has delightful fresh aroma and can give you a comfortable smooth, sweet drinking feeling rolling over the tongue without any bitterness. As one of our highly recommended hight-mountain teas, this Organic Lv Yang Chun tea featured for its sweet taste and lovely greenish color.

The special processing technique produces a special tea that is strong, yet very refreshing. The aroma is a pleasant reminiscence of fresh Orchid bloom. Every sip of Lv Yang Chun tea promises a sweet and refreshing memory.

Brewing Guide: We recommend using glass-based or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use about 3 grams of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for every 250 ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 70°c (158°F) to 80°c (176°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing.
