Fresh and sensual, our Dragon Eye Mega Jasmine Pearls can be steeped up to 3 times. Our Dragon Eye Mega Jasmine Pearls are recognised as one of the finest jasmine teas in China. Hand-rolled young green tea buds are suffused with fresh jasmine blossoms in the traditional way. The rolled pearls are dried, then blended with unopened night-blooming jasmine flowers. Over the course of a night, the flowers open and release their aroma into the tea, flavoring it and giving it the heady scent associated with the tea. The next morning, the flowers are removed and the operation is done all over again - up to six times for high-quality jasmine teas!
Each pearl is made up of just one leaf and an unopened bud, which unfold to release a delicate floral fragrance, and a liquor of soft texture and delicately dry finish. This is the largest pearls we have seen in China and definately the best quality. As we can see from picture, it is 4-6 times the size as ordinary jasmine pearls. Besides, it is made of buds only, no stem all all. 100% natural, capturing the delicacy of the jasmine flower without overwhelming the sweet, creamy softness of the green tea. The resulting fragrant pearl unravels in water, releasing a persistent jasmine aroma in a smooth, lightly sweet liquor. - Scoop 6-8 pearls of tea leaves into your infuser.
- Heat water to 190°F/ 85°C (just before boiling).
- Pour 8 oz. of water over tea leaves.
- Steep tea for 3-5 minutes (depending on taste preference).
- Remove infuser and enjoy tea.
