Product Overview

Xiao Qing Gan also known as mandarin Pu-erh tea or green orange Puerh tea, is made of green mandarin stuffed Pu-erh tea. Xiao means “little”; Qing means “green”; Gan means “mandarin”.Dry Leaf The opening at the top is easy to remove the fruit flesh and the little hole at the bottom is convenient for drying, transforming and brewing. The flavor you can taste is both the brisk fragrance of orange and the mellow taste of pu-erh.

Our producer uses green tangerine fruits from Xinhui, a place in Guangdong, China, known for producing the best tangerine peel (Chenpi in Chinese). The tea selected is eight years aged imperial grade Yunnan ripe Pu Er tea. They take the time to slowly sun dry the tea-stuffed green tangerines for optimum flavor.

Once infused, the tea is velvety smooth in texture; the green tangerine’s bittersweet taste and crisp citrus notes perfectly complement the woodsy and earthy flavors of the Pu Er Tea. Very low in caffeine and great for digestion.

Brewing Guide: break up the peel and use the preferred amount of pu-erh and peel to steep. Or drop the entire parcel into the tea vessel.
