Description: Wu Zi Xian Hao Green Tea, which was named after the Wuzi mountain, is produced in Xixiang County, Hanzhong of China’s Shanxi province. Xixiang tea is well known in Chinese history, firstly produced in the Qin and Han Dynasties and became popular in the Tang Dynasty and hence chosen as a royal tribute. Located in Qinba mountain area, Xixiang County is mountainous, from 800 to 1,200 meters above sea level. It is in the joint zone of the Northern and Southern climate.
As a northernmost tea producing region in China, the abandunt rainfall, mild climate and nutritious soil build an advantageous environment for the unique quality characteristics of Wuzi green tea: rich zinc, selenium, aminoacid, catechol, catechin, vitamin and other beneficial factors, richer than the other common green teas. It has the unique quality of pure green, all from nature, uncontaminated and rich in Zn and Se. Wu Zi Xian Hao, the highest grade of Wuzi green tea, is well processed by the new buds and epicormic leaves plucked before Chinese Ching Ming Festival. It’s wonderful in color, aroma, taste and appearance. Once brewed in a transparent glass cup, it looks like orchids and turns emerald green, which has fragrant aroma and mellow taste.
It’s relaxing and happy when watching and drinking the brewed Wu Zi Xian Hao tea. Not only can it satisfy your thirst, but also nourish your body. It is an ideal nutriment containing various trace elements such as Zn, Se, etc. Constant drinking can help refresh your body, relieve internal fever, promote digestion, help lose weight, beautify skin, lower blood pressure, antilipemic and radiation harm.
Picking standard of Wuzi Xianhao tea is that only a bud with 1-2 tender leaves are picked. It’s really a time consuming work as 62,000 buds can only produce 1 kilo dry tea leaves. The production procedures of Wuzi Xianhao tea include: Spreading (35 hours), fixing, rolling, drying, baking, picking, etc.
Wu Zi Xian Hao tea is very good floral aroma and taste, special for its light golden-green liquor color and fragrant aroma. Its flavor is slightly sweet, vegetal. Its faintly-sweet and smoothness taste comforts your throat. This top grade green tea will display a good view in the glass cup, standing up and down in the cup.
