Jianshui Purple Pottery is a traditional Chinese ceramic art form that originates from Jianshui County in Yunnan Province. The production process involves hand-throwing the clay into shape, followed by multiple steps of kneading, stretching, pressing, and squeezing to achieve the desired form.

In terms of decoration, it employs an "incised and filled" technique, where designs are carved into the semi-dried clay, and different colored clay materials are then filled into the grooves, creating intricate and colorful patterns.
