Description: Que She means sparrow’s tongue and is named for its delicate and narrow leaf shape. Que She also refers to the bush cultivar’s name; it is a mixed cultivar between Da Hong Pao and various other local cultivars. This cultivar is known for growing very slowly and producing a smaller and later yield than others.
To maximize its high fruity fragrance, almost perfume-like, oxidization and roasting is on the lower side comparing to other rock teas. It has a soft mouthfeel, very easy to drink as your first rock tea. This tea is mouth-watering, rich with a creamy orchid scented fragrance, the aftertaste lingers around the cheeks & in the throat. Our distinctive Que She WuYi Rock Tea is smooth and gentle with hints of lychee fruit, vanilla and cream which is really quite distinctive from any other Rock tea. It has a singular flavor but it is very elegant.
Brewing Guide: Place one teaspoon per cup into an infuser, filter, or teapot. Switch the kettle off, before it boils, when you hear the water rumbling. Add the hot, but not boiling, water and infuse for 3 minutes. Serve immediately or remove leaves to prevent spoiling.
