After plucking the green tea leaves during the first flush of Spring, they are rolled and pan-fried to create their discerning needle-like dry shape that brews into a beautiful light green colored tea filled with nutty aromas. Dark green tea leaves have a white furry appearance shaped like pine needles and have a comforting aroma of baked rice.
Our Wudang tea is produced from a fine harvest of delicate downy buds. The infused tea is pale green and cloudy with a smooth texture. The smooth, cloudy liquor has a fruity and floral bouquet reminiscent of litchi. Upon tasting, this bright cup reveals its little astringency, distinctness, and aromatic complexity. The floral and herbaceous notes run from toasted hazelnuts to straw, leaving a fresh miny finish.
