About This Tea: Enjoy this lightly roasted oolong crafted from Zhen Yan. It is a special oolong tea grown and cultivated within the "Zheng Yan" area of the Wu Yi heritage area. Zheng Yan is the protected area of the Wu Yi Heritage site that is not open to the public. This Orchid Fragrance Da Hong Pao smaller leaf variety. Vegetal tones and a minerally mouthfeel set the stage for accents of nutty flavors and floral fragrances.
This tea is full-bodied and complex with balanced sweetness. Notes of dark cherries, rocky minerality, orange, fruit and flower tastes melded together into something that is better experienced than talked about.
