The black tea is characteristic of the highlands of Yunnan, a magnificent and mountainous province in southwest China. Our Everyday tea is perfect if you like a hearty, well-rounded and invigorating cup.

This selection is handcrafted from a bold-leaf Yunnan varietal. The dry leaves are tightly rolled into a twisted shape, dark in color, with golden tip accents.

Our Everyday Yunnan black produces a golden liquor with a full-bodied taste and an elusive floral aroma. Leaves will steep to creamy and malty sweet notes with a thirst-quenching sweetness in the finish. The taste is clean and lingering. Some flavor of caramel and certainly spice. With much more sweetness and a completely different flavor profile, it can be a perfect dessert tea and a perfect choice for a soothing afternoon cup.

Brewing Guide: The water used to steep this tea should be at the boiling point. Use about 2 teaspoons (3 grams) of tea leaves for about every 5 ounces (150 milliliters) of water. A steeping time of about 3-5 minutes with more or less time is recommended depending on the desired concentration.
