Product Overview

Xiao Fu Gan is a traditional Chinese tea specialty made by carefully filling whole Xinhui tangerines with premium Fuding white tea and drying them naturally. This tea combines the mellow sweetness of aged white tea with the vibrant citrus aroma of authentic Xinhui chenpi, creating a smooth, rich, and refreshing infusion. Crafted with 2020 Shou Mei white tea from Fuding, Fujian Province and genuine Xinhui tangerines from Guangdong Province, it offers a harmonious balance of sweet aged tea character and fragrant citrus notes.

The liquor is bright golden amber with a pleasant aroma of citrus, honey, dried fruit, and aged tea. The taste is smooth, naturally sweet, and full-bodied, finishing with a lingering sweetness and refreshing tangerine fragrance.

Ingredients: 2020 Fuding Shou Mei White Tea, Authentic Xinhui Tangerine Peel (Chenpi).

Origin: Fuding, Fujian Province, China (White Tea); Xinhui, Guangdong Province, China (Tangerine Peel).

For gongfu brewing, break the tangerine and tea into several pieces and use approximately 6–8 grams in a 100–120ml gaiwan or teapot. Brew with water at 95–100°C (203–212°F). The first infusion may be steeped for 10–15 seconds, with slightly longer steeping times for subsequent infusions. The tea can be infused many times while continuing to develop flavor.

For western-style brewing, use approximately 4–5 grams per 250ml (8 oz) of water and steep for 3–5 minutes with water at 95–100°C (203–212°F). The leaves may be re-steeped several times.

This tea may also be simmered. Place 5–8 grams in 500–800ml of water, bring to a gentle boil, and simmer for 5–10 minutes to produce a rich, sweet, and warming brew.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and strong odors. With proper storage, the tea and chenpi will continue to mature and develop greater complexity over time.
