Product Overview
This organic jasmine tea is a traditional Chinese tea made from a special blend of green tea leaves and jasmine flowers. This is a deeply perfumed green tea from the Fujian province of China. This special floral mix is created by scenting the leaves of the tea plant with fragrant jasmine flowers, using techniques that have been perfected over generations.
The scenting process is repeated with fresh flowers a total of eight times. The aroma of this tea is intensely floral. The overall flavor is exquisite, very pleasant and delicate. This Jasmine tea has green tea for the base, however, it is very subtle and jasmine is definitely the dominant scent and aroma. The tea itself is very inviting and has no trace of astringency. This tea brews to a coppery, golden color with an aroma of fresh flowers. It also has a sweet aftertaste and a strong umami flavor, which is characteristic of Chinese jasmine teas.
It has a multi-layered and lingering floral aroma. The brew is simply floral, very soft, tastefully scented, sweet and incredibly delicate. This is a wonderful example of China’s national drink. This tea won the gold medal in the "Art Association Cup" Tea Competition in 2022. You can easily enjoy multiple infusions.
No artificial chemicals or preservatives. We follow a very complicated, but very rewarding, full 7-day scenting process. The end result is a natural Jasmine flavor that is infused into the best tea leaves. We never add fake Jasmine "flavoring", just natural infusion.
Brewing Guide: For the brewing of the special jasmine green tea, it is suitable to use a glass. We recommend applying a lower temperature of 80-85ºC (175 – 185 ºF) to steep the tea. The ratio of tea is usually 1:50 and the brewing time is 3-5 minutes.
