Description: An incredibly fantastic raw pu-erh made from wild arbor tea tree leaves that have a dark purple color. This wild tea is naturally dark in color, and is heavy in anti-oxidants and catechins. Picked from the Purple trees in Yunnan province, China. These trees are naturally rich in anthocyanins to give a dark purple hue to the leaves and a light purple to the liquor. Great, deep body! It has a thick, sweet mouth feel and a long, clean finish. After six steeps the natural sweetness really comes through.
This tea is harvested from 2600 meters high mountain in spring. The richness in the nutrition of the tender leaves makes a very smooth, complex flavor with a lingering finish.
Brewing Guide: Use 5 geams per cup, heat water until boiling. Let steep 2-3 minutes. Good for multiple infusions. Add a little more time for each subsequent infusion.
