Product Overview

Velvet Moon is the second expression within the Soul phase of the Jasmine Odyssey collection, where jasmine tea enters a quieter and more refined realm of elegance. At this stage, the tea no longer relies on brightness or overt intensity, but instead reveals a deeper sense of softness, polish, and harmony. Every aspect of the tea is shaped toward creating a smooth, immersive experience where fragrance and texture unfold with calm continuity.

The name “Velvet Moon” captures the character of the tea perfectly. As moonlight diffused through the stillness of night, the jasmine aroma felt soft, luminous, and enveloping rather than vivid or piercing. The fragrance rises slowly from the cup in gentle layers, carrying an elegant floral sweetness that lingers delicately in the air and breath. Its expression is calm and composed, offering a sense of quiet refinement rather than dramatic perfume.

The tea base is crafted from carefully selected spring green tea leaves chosen for their tenderness, purity, and smooth structure. Through meticulous processing, the liquor develops a rounded and velvety body with exceptional clarity. The leaf texture allows the jasmine fragrance to integrate naturally into the tea, creating an aromatic profile that feels seamless and deeply fused rather than sitting separately on the surface.

Scenting is performed through multiple carefully timed nighttime cycles using fresh jasmine blossoms at their peak bloom. Great attention is placed on balance and refinement during this stage, allowing the fragrance to enter the leaves gradually and evenly. The result is a jasmine aroma with remarkable depth and softness, free from excessive sharpness or heaviness. After scenting, the blossoms are thoroughly removed to preserve a pure and polished finish.

The dry leaves are slender, tightly formed, and rich green in appearance with a subtle natural sheen. Once infused, the liquor is bright and transparent with a luminous golden-green hue. The aroma unfolds steadily from the cup, revealing layered jasmine notes accompanied by a faint creamy sweetness and a cool, soothing freshness.

On the palate, Velvet Moon is defined by its extraordinary texture. The liquor feels exceptionally silky and fluid, gliding smoothly across the mouth with almost satin-like softness. The floral sweetness is gentle yet persistent, unfolding gradually alongside the tea’s mellow body. Every sip feels rounded and harmonious, without rough edges or abrupt transitions. The jasmine character remains clear throughout the session while becoming softer, deeper, and more integrated with each infusion.

The finish is long, clean, and deeply calming. A lingering floral sweetness remains in the breath long after drinking, accompanied by a smooth cooling sensation that enhances the tea’s tranquil character. Rather than overwhelming the senses, Velvet Moon draws attention through balance, refinement, and its remarkably graceful mouthfeel.

Within the Soul phase, Velvet Moon embodies softness elevated to a higher level of sophistication. It is a jasmine tea centered on texture, atmosphere, and quiet persistence, offering a deeply elegant and meditative tea experience for those who appreciate subtlety and refinement.

Brewing Guide:
Use approximately 3 grams of tea for 200 ml of water. Brew with water around 85°C (185°F). Steep the first infusion for 40 to 55 seconds. This tea performs beautifully over four to six infusions, gradually revealing an even smoother texture and a deeper, more lingering floral sweetness with each brew.
