Description: Coming from ancient wild trees growing in a forest in Fujian, this white tea has been made with care to conserve as much of the natural character of the leaves as possible. The leaves were picked and gently spread out on bamboo mats to wither and slowly shade dry for several days. The tea leaves plucked from wild tea bushes---No pesticides and fertilizers are used on these tea bushes, which makes this tea natural and green.
Different from artificial planting tea bushes, tea leaves of the wild tea bushes are larger, not very neat in shape, and some of the tea leaves even have small holes that bite by worms. This rare and unique white tea bears the meaning of longevity: its leaves were delicately harvested by hand, and the warm sun rays of Fuding slowly dried them, sealing their sweet honey aftertaste.
The brewed tea is sweet, with a thick body and lubricating mouth-feel. The flavor is very pure - with floral notes and comfortable and powerful energy. Upon beginning to drink the tea, one may think it is very light, but as the infusions progress and the drinker becomes more sensitive, it's full of flavor, aroma and character. The sweetness is honey-like with some slight floral notes. It brews a deep golden tea soup and slides happily through the mouth and throat bringing a kind of soothing fullness with it. This something that will age and develop with the coming years and can be stored like pu-erh tea.
Brewing guide: Pour the newly heated water into the teapot and allow your tea to steep for 1 to 2 minutes. Then increase the time with the succeeding brews, not the temperature of the water. It can be infused 7 or 8 times gong fu style (maybe more depending on your brewing style and leaf quantity).
