About Us

Don't Look for "Masters," Look for Dedicated Guardians

Dragon Tea House: Twenty Years of Quiet Persistence.

In the world of tea, people are accustomed to chasing "myths." You have likely heard countless legends of hermits in deep mountains, grandmasters of hand-rolling, or secret batches made personally by titans of the industry. These stories are often accompanied by flowery rhetoric and a sense of intimidation that keeps tea at a distance. At Dragon Tea House, we choose to peel away these layers ourselves, revealing the honest texture of the leaves.

We want to be honest with you: a truly exceptional cup of tea is never the work of a single "Master" with a halo. It is not a solo performance, but a rigorous, cross-border, and often tedious collective marathon. We refuse to use personal IP as a marketing gimmick, and we have no interest in creating "tea influencers" on the internet. We don't want you to pay a premium for a name; our only hope is that when you blow away the steam and take a sip, you feel the true weight of the leaf, not the weight of a story.

Behind the Scenes: The Power of Collective Professionalism

Rather than following a person's fame, we prefer to guard the baseline of a team. Behind Dragon Tea House is a group of ordinary people obsessed with the smallest details:

Flavor Hunters (Sourcing Team)

They spend most of the year trekking through muddy tea mountains. They don't look at certificates on the wall; they look at the soil acidity. They can be "cold-blooded"—even with ten-year partners, if the season’s climate drifts from our standard, they will firmly hit the reject button.

The "Cynics" (Sensory Panel)

There is no "one-man rule" in our tasting room. From senior tea masters to our youngest members, everyone holds the power of veto. Only flavors that satisfy every critical palate in blind tastings earn a place in our tins.

Data Guardians (QC & Tech)

They handle the most monotonous yet vital work: verifying chemical indicators and enforcing zero-tolerance for pesticides. They are the "obsessives" who stay late to troubleshoot a 0.5% moisture deviation in a drying batch.

Sentinels of the Journey (Packaging & Logistics)

They understand that a tea’s soul is fragile. From engineering our 3rd-gen pressure-resistant boxes to selecting climate-stable shipping routes, their mission is to ensure that the aroma born in the mountains survives the thousands of miles to your doorstep.

To Be Honest is to Be Imperfect

As a team of real humans, we have made mistakes. We must be candid: over the past twenty years, we have had moments where our selection was not strict enough, instances of oversight in our auditing process, and times when we disappointed our old friends. Unlike those who hide behind "divine perfection," we know our limitations.

But we never hide. Every piece of feedback from you—be it a warm compliment or a sharp critique—is printed and shared in our meetings. We do not avoid bad reviews; they are our roadmap for evolution. We don't chase the myth of being a "god"; we chase the reality of being a human team that gets better every day. This feeling of being trusted, held accountable, and pushed forward by friends we’ve never met is our only motivation.

Our Evolution: Twenty Years of Quiet Progress

2005 - 2006

Dragon Tea House was founded. We launched on eBay, crossing borders for the first time to deliver the aroma of the East to tea lovers worldwide.

2010

Joined AliExpress. Amidst the rapid growth, we began to deeply reflect on what "honest tea" truly meant beyond the scale of a platform.

2020

Returning to Our Roots. We withdrew from mass platforms to focus exclusively on our official website. We chose to serve our core community with a more intimate and pure experience.

2021 - 2023

Launched the "Plastic Reduction Initiative" with paper-based packaging. Developed our 3rd-gen pressure-resistant boxes and optimized premium logistics for faster global shipping.

2026 WORK IN PROGRESS

Comprehensive upgrade of customer service quality, led by tea experts instead of bots. Launching digital product archives for full data transparency, from precise chemical indicators to micro-climates of origin.

We have received letters from old friends saying our tea accompanied them through lonely nights, and from new tea lovers excited to find descriptions like "rainy pine needles" that finally made sense to them. These moments are why we work.

"We work quietly, seeking no grand fame, but only to retain a few old friends who understand tea and understand us through the sifting of time. Thank you for witnessing our twenty years of silence, falls, and persistence."

Sincerely, The Entire Team at Dragon Tea House
