Product Overview

Established in 1907 in Taichung, Taiwan, Chang Shun Tea is one of the island’s oldest and most respected tea brands. With over a century of heritage passed down through four generations, they remain dedicated to the timeless pursuit of quality, integrity, and craftsmanship.

Chang Shun Tea specializes in sourcing and producing Taiwan’s finest teas, including Lishan, Alishan, Shanlinxi, Dong Ding, and the renowned Oriental Beauty oolong. From careful cultivation in pristine mountain gardens to meticulous hand-picking and traditional processing, every step is carried out with precision to preserve the tea’s natural character and complexity.

For more than 100 years, their passion for tea has never diminished. Today, Chang Shun is more than a tea producer—it is a cultural ambassador, sharing the elegance and depth of Taiwanese tea with the world. Combining tradition with refined modern presentation, they offer premium teas, elegant gift sets, and artisanal teaware suited for contemporary lifestyles.

Chang Shun Oriental Beauty Taiwan Oolong Tea is one of Taiwan’s most distinctive and celebrated teas. Also known as “Bai Hao Oolong,” it is famous for its naturally sweet, honey-like aroma, developed through a unique interaction between tea leaves and leafhoppers in the growing process.

The dry leaves are beautifully twisted, displaying a vibrant mix of colors—white, green, yellow, and brown—indicating the presence of tender buds and careful craftsmanship. When brewed, the leaves unfurl to reveal a bright amber liquor, clear and luminous.

The aroma is rich and complex, featuring natural honey sweetness layered with ripe fruit notes and a hint of floral elegance. This fragrance is entirely natural, resulting from the tea’s unique production method rather than any added flavoring.

On the palate, the tea is smooth, full-bodied, and naturally sweet, with no bitterness. The honeyed character blends harmoniously with fruity undertones, creating a rounded and lingering finish. Its higher level of oxidation gives it depth and warmth, while still maintaining a refined softness.

Water temperature: 90–95°C (194–203°F)
