This Ripe Pu-erh Tea Dragon Ball is produced by Haiwan Tea Factory under the well-known Old Comrade (Lao Tong Zhi) brand. Each mini tea ball weighs approximately 5 grams, making it perfectly portioned for convenient single-session brewing.
Carefully compressed into a round “dragon ball” shape, the tea slowly unfurls during infusion, releasing a smooth, mellow, and rich liquor. The flavor is earthy and clean, with notes of dark wood, cocoa, and subtle sweetness. The texture is thick and comforting, with minimal bitterness and no harshness.
These individually sized 5g mini tea balls are ideal for gongfu brewing, teapots around 100–150ml, or even larger mugs for simple daily enjoyment. Convenient to carry and easy to store, they are perfect for home, office, or travel.
Brewing Guide: Use 1 mini tea ball (5g) for 100–150ml of water. Rinse quickly once with boiling water (100°C) for 5–10 seconds to help the tea open. Then steep for about 10–15 seconds for the first infusion, gradually increasing the time with each subsequent infusion. Can be infused 8–12 times or more.
