Product Overview
Mint White Tea is a refreshing and elegant blend that combines the delicate notes of white tea with the invigorating coolness of mint. Rather than simply adding a few mint leaves to hot water, a high-quality mint white tea is thoughtfully crafted by blending carefully selected mint with premium white tea leaves— Bai Mu Dan (White Peony), a classic white tea known for its mild sweetness and floral aroma.
The white tea base, Bai Mu Dan, consists of one bud and one or two leaves. The leaves are naturally dried and only lightly processed, preserving their soft character and rich antioxidant content. In this blend, the tea is slightly broken to help it infuse more quickly and release its flavor more fully. The spearmint is dried gently to retain its natural oils and aromatic intensity. It is then cut into tiny, even pieces to blend well with the white tea, ensuring a consistent and full-flavored infusion.
The dry leaf appearance is visually striking—small, broken pieces in shades of green and silver, with the white tea buds covered in fine white hairs. The mix of mint and white tea creates a textural contrast and a layered aroma that is both soothing and refreshing.
Mint white tea delivers a gentle and clean taste. The first sip reveals the mellow, slightly sweet character of Bai Mu Dan, followed by a crisp, cooling minty finish that lingers on the palate. The mint enhances the tea’s refreshing quality without overpowering the white tea’s subtlety. The result is a smooth, calming cup with a light body and a bright, clean finish—perfect for moments of relaxation or mental clarity.
Hot Brew: Use 3 grams of tea for 150–200 ml of water at 75–85°C (167–185°F). Steep for 2–3 minutes. Because the tea leaves are small and broken, it's best to use a fine mesh infuser, tea ball, or teapot with a built-in filter to prevent leaf particles from ending up in your cup. This method produces a clear, fragrant infusion with a well-balanced flavor.
Cold Brew: Add 3–5 grams of tea to 500 ml of cold or room temperature water. Let it steep in the refrigerator for 6–8 hours. Cold brewing draws out a smoother, sweeter profile, with the mint flavors becoming more prominent. It's a perfect iced tea option for hot days—cooling, hydrating, and naturally low in caffeine.
