Compared with the first two teas in the Awakening stage, it offers a more polished balance between the green tea base and the delicate jasmine fragrance while maintaining the light and refreshing spirit that defines this phase of the Odyssey.
The name “Morning Dew” is inspired by the quiet beauty of early morning in a jasmine garden. At dawn, when the air is still cool and clear, tiny droplets of dew rest on fresh leaves while newly opened jasmine blossoms release their gentle fragrance into the air. This tea seeks to capture that moment of calm purity. Rather than emphasizing the deeper, more intense floral richness found in the higher tiers of the collection, Morning Dew highlights elegance, freshness, and the natural harmony between tea and flower.
The tea is crafted from carefully selected green tea leaves sourced from traditional jasmine tea regions in Fujian and Guangxi. For this grade, the green tea base is made from more complete and carefully selected leaves, giving the finished tea greater structure and clarity. After harvesting, the leaves undergo precise withering, fixing, and rolling to preserve their lively green color, supple texture, and intact leaf form. This higher-quality base allows the jasmine fragrance to integrate more smoothly while maintaining the natural freshness of the tea.
Fresh jasmine blossoms are layered with the tea leaves in a carefully controlled scenting process. Compared with the earlier teas in the Awakening stage, Morning Dew receives additional scenting cycles, allowing the floral aroma to become more stable and refined while still preserving the clean, grassy sweetness of the tea base. Once the scenting is complete, the tea is gently dried to lock in the fragrance, and the spent flowers are removed so that the aroma remains pure and naturally integrated within the leaves.
The dry leaves appear slender and neatly formed, with a dark green color and a noticeably more complete leaf structure. When infused, the tea releases a fresh, natural jasmine fragrance that is soft yet persistent. The liquor is bright and clear with a delicate yellow-green hue. On the palate, the tea feels smooth and silky, with a refreshing green sweetness layered beneath a graceful floral lift. Compared with the preceding Summer Breeze grade, Morning Dew offers a slightly fuller aromatic presence, a cleaner structure, and a more refined finish while still retaining the light, uplifting character that defines the Awakening stage.

Brewing Guide: Use approximately 3 grams of tea for 200 ml of water. The ideal brewing temperature is 80–85°C (176–185°F), which helps preserve the delicate jasmine oils and the tea’s natural sweetness. Steep the first infusion for about 30–60 seconds. This grade typically yields three to four infusions, with each brew gradually revealing new layers of its fresh, luminous Awakening character.
