Product Overview
Lychee black tea is a special type of scented tea from China, mostly from the Guangdong and Guangxi provinces. Our nonpareil grade is a black tea scented with real lychee fruit, by roasting lychees with tea leaves. Lychee is a small fruit with white flesh and pink peel from a lychee tree. Lychee peels easily, and it’s eaten raw. It’s native to Guangdong province and has grown in other Asian countries too.
it has been scented with real fruits during production. All-natural, no sugar, no artificial flavors. The tea contains a lot of fruit pieces, with a sweet fruity lychee flavor. Its natural sweetness and perfume pair perfectly with black tea, creating a delicious and mild infusion that is as good served cold as it is served warm. Lychee has a sweet, tropical flavor and adds a wonderful note to rich Chinese black tea. The tea has a nice strong lychee flavor but is still quite mellow and easy to drink. This is the best choice for the tea lovers who love lychee flavor teas.
Brewing Guide: The water used to steep this tea should be at the boiling point. Use about 2 teaspoons (3 grams) of tea leaves for about every 5 ounces (150 milliliters) of water. A steeping time of about 3-5 minutes with more or less time is recommended depending on the desired concentration.
We also highly recommend Lychee Black cold-brewed for a very refreshing chilled tea. To make iced Lichee tea, boil the 1 L of water, pour it into a pot, bowl, or jug and add 2 teaspoons of loose Lychee black tea. Let the tea steep for 10-15 minutes, then remove the loose leaves. Allow the black tea to cool down completely in the fridge. Enjoy your lychee iced tea!
