Product Overview
Huang Jin Gui is one of the famous Anxi oolongs along with Tie Guan Yin. The name Huang Jin Gui means "yellow-gold osmanthus" and is named after the yellow-golden color of its leaf shoots and its unique flowery aroma, said to be reminiscent of Osmanthus.
Huang Jin Gui is beside Tie Guan Yin one of the most famous teas from Anxi. This premium Oolong is with a light oxidation level of 30%. The picking pattern is one bud and two to three leaves in each picking. The plants are only picked once the top leaves are partially unfurled.
Tea liquor color is golden yellow. Once infused the air is instantly filled with wildflower fragrance brought by the warm vapor of the tea. It produces a noticeable amount of osmanthus fragrance. The aroma is clean, and a sip of it is sweet with honey, leaving a floral fragrance on the cheeks.
Brewing Guide: 195F, Boiling first then let water sit for 30 seconds; Use: 1 tablespoon per 8 ounces of water; Infusion time: 4-5 minutes. Please be reminded that you should always rinse the tea first before consuming it.
