Product Overview

This tea is made from sun-dried large-leaf tea material sourced from the Xigui tea area in Bangdong Township, Lincang, Yunnan. The tea trees grow along the rocky slopes of the Lancang River in a well-preserved natural environment. Their deep root systems absorb abundant minerals from the soil, giving Xigui tea its distinctive mountain character and firm structure. The material is mainly composed of more mature leaves, offering stability in flavor and good aging potential.

The “Golden Bar” is a long, bar-shaped compressed form. The leaves are tightly aligned yet moderately pressed, making the tea easy to pry and suitable for long-term storage. The dry leaves appear dark green and glossy, with thick, well-defined leaf structure and a clean, orderly appearance. A certain proportion of huang pian is included. Huang pian refers to larger, thicker, more mature leaves selected during processing. Compared with tender leaves, they release their components more slowly during brewing, resulting in a gentler profile with lower bitterness, a smooth and sweet taste, and excellent endurance. As the infusion progresses, sweetness and body gradually build, and the tea shows favorable transformation potential over time.

The liquor is clear and golden. The first sips are soft and naturally sweet, with a quick and lasting returning sweetness. As the session continues, the texture becomes fuller, revealing the characteristic rocky minerality of Xigui along with subtle floral notes. The throat feel is clean and well-defined, with lingering aroma in the mouth. The overall style is calm, structured, and layered rather than aggressive.
