It is especially found in North America, Europe, Central America and Asian countries. The morel mushroom closely resemble small cups. It is collected every spring because of its delicious taste. This type of fungus is especially preferred by gourmet chefs.

Our wild morel mushrooms are harvested from Yunnan province, China. Located in the southwest of China, lying at the far eastern edge of the Himalayan uplift, bordering Tibet to the west, and the countries Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar to the south, Yunnan province is situated in a mountainous area, with high elevations in the northwest and low elevations in the southeast. Despite the lower latitude, mushrooms in Yunnan enjoy a moderate climate with pleasant and fair weather for being located on south-facing mountain slopes, receiving the influence of both the Pacific and Indian oceans, which results in a long growing period. Besides, high altitude has provided plentiful sunlight for mushrooms.

Preparation and serving methods: Dry morels should be reconstituted by soaking them in lukewarm water for 30 minutes. Soaking swells them up, regaining their original conical shape. Dry mop using a paper towel. Slice lengthwise or quarterly as you may desire in cooking. The morel mushroom, which is quite healthy, should never be eaten without cooking the mushroom.

Morels can be stewed, braised or cooked in main dishes meat like rice, poultry, game, and fish.
Traditionally, morel mushrooms enjoyed pan fried in butter and garlic cloves, with addition of some salt and pepper.
