Description: This distinctive organic Chinese tea originally hailed from the Jinzhai County of Dabieshan Mountains, in China's eastern Anhui province. Jinzhai black tea has a narrow, tightly twisted black leaves that brew a brilliant reddish-brown cup with a full-bodied, light, toasty flavor. Its brown infusion features a smooth slightly roasted quality, with a sweet juicy finish. Jinzhai tastes wonderful with or without milk or sugar and goes exceptionally well with baked goods like bread, cakes, and muffins. Try a steaming hot cup of Jinzhai in the afternoon and you will discover a special pleasure that could easily become habit-forming.
Brewing Guide: The water used to steep this tea should be at the boiling point. Use about 2 teaspoons (3 grams) of tea leaves for about every 5 ounces (150 milliliters) of water. A steeping time of about 3-5 minutes with more or less time is recommended depending on the desired concentration.
