Product Overview

Tea trees are divided into three types: large, medium and small. These three grades can be distinguished according to the size of the mature leaves. Those with leaf area greater than 60 square centimeters are called large-leaf tea trees, while those with a leaf area between 40-60 square centimeters are called middle-leaf tea trees. Small-leaf tea trees are those that are less than 20 square centimeters. Large-leaf tea has a richer spongy tissue, which can store more tea substances. Therefore, when we drink big-leaf tea, such as arbor Pu'er tea, we can feel that the tea taste is strong and rich, and the bitter taste is relatively strong. The spongy tissue of small-leaf tea is not as rich as that of large-leaf tea. The subtle bitterness makes it easier for the taste buds to feel the sweetness brought by theanine. This is why we can feel the tea soup when drinking small-leaf tea. The reason why the tea body is soft and sweet. The various lutein, carotene, and terpene derivatives contained in small leaf tea are also very rich, and they are excellent raw materials for making black tea.

Fujian Province is the home to many great black teas. Small Leaf  Black Tea is from Fuzhou along the coast of Fujian Province. A local style of Fujianese black that is rarely exported. Small-leaf black tea has a slightly different character from other black teas with large leaves. This local-style black offers a distinctive flavor!

This cultivar cups to a dry, lightly sweet flavor and produce a lightly colored infusion with a slightly nutty finish. Featuring a faint floral scent on entry, and a light taste. Mellow but not thick, feels rich endoplasm but will not produce discomfort in the mouth. Our small-leaf black tea delivers delicate flavors has almost no astringency and can maintain a relatively strong sweet back.
