Description: This unique tea is made of ancient tree tea stalks from Menghai. Normally, tea stalks are picked from leaves after fermentation process. Today, more and more tea lovers find tea stalks are more durable than leaves, as all the nutrition for leaves goes through stalks, there is more amino acid and aromatic substances in stalk. They could be brewed in a teapot and cooked for more infusions. Rich, smooth and sweet.
Brewing Guide: Use 2 teaspoon tea leaves per serve into the tea vessel. Use freshly boiled water (200°F – 210°F), thoroughly rinse the tea leaves without soaking for up to 10 second, add freshly boiled water to start brewing for 2 to 4 minutes and serve without delay.
In addition to the traditional recipe for brewing tea, you may also choose to make a decoction. The basic recipe for a decoction includes 1-pt water and 4 teaspoons of tea.
Place the water into a pot made from non-reactive metal (such as stainless or ceramic; do not use aluminum). Turn on the heat to medium. Simmer your decoction for 15-20 minutes, strain and serve.
