Shen Nong Jia Ancient Tree Black Tea is made from the tea leaves of old tea trees aged 200-300 years. The wild tea trees grow naturally in ecological forestry tea gardens without any application of fertilizer and pesticides. Wild tea trees grow more slowly than common garden tea trees. The physical status of these old tea trees makes the black tea produced from them much more typical and original in flavor and taste of the tea that was made in ancient times. With their roots intertwined with the land and the influence of the high mountain climate, these tea leaves contain precious tea polyphenols and minerals. All the flavor and taste come from its purity with nature! It is completely clean from any pollution.

The tea leaves are plump and twisted, they exude a pleasant fragrance reminiscent of baked plum. The tea liquid boasts an amber hue, as well as a natural, honeyed fruit. This is one of the best Chinese black teas to be served and appreciated as pure tea, It gives the classic caramel flavor, and the taste is sweet, fruity, smooth with a deep, rich aftertaste! Those who take a sip of the tea will be impressed by its mellow flavor and long aftertaste. The note of sweet dried plums is unforgettable! The tea can be steeped multiple times and its fragrance will remain just as rich, creating a sweet taste sensation that will linger not only in your mouth but also in your memory.

Brewing Guide: Add around 3g of tea to a teapot with a capacity of 300-500ml. Pour hot water into the vessel. We recommend using water at 90C. Cover and steep for 3-5 minutes. Extend or shorten the steeping time depending on your preference for a stronger or weaker brew.
