Description: From Yang Yan Mountains in Lin Hai City in Zhejiang Province, China. “Gou Qing” means “Green Hook.” Very rare, the yearly production is only about 10% that of Xi Hu Long Jing’s. The name comes from the special hook-like appearance of the leaves. Tea leaves are downy, small, and curvy, unfurl into fresh green color leaves with one-bud and one-to-two leaves when infused. Highly aromatic with a smooth and delicately sweet taste.
Brewing Guide: Use between one and two teaspoons of leaves per cup of 75-85 degree water (167-185 fahrenheit) for up to one minute. Increase the steeping time for each subsequent brewing.
