Product Overview
A mellow oolong tea from Yunnan Province consisting of a fine mixture of tips and leaves that is hand-harvested and processed similarly to Taiwan oriental beauty oolong. A tea with a robust flavor, it is still smooth and sweet, with woody, fruity and floral notes reminiscent of cherry blossom.
Harvested from 100-year-old trees, this rare white tea consists of buds and leaves. The leaves have been carefully hand processed resulting in a beautiful mixture of buds and black leaves – the result of the oxidation process. They are twisted with silvery buds, the beautifully shaped white-tipped leaf is a testament to its carefully controlled oxidization; this keeps the leaf whole and sweet flavor intact. This tea is grown at 1700m altitude and imparts a sweet honey aroma.
Yunnan High Mountain Honey Oolong tea infusion offers aromas of citrus and flowers. The flavor is intense yet smooth, honey-sweet with some fruity elements. This lasts for many infusions. The coppery top note is complemented by scents of rose petals and sweet muscat grapes. The finish is long and full, rendering baked sweetness from honey-dipped figs. The depth of its aromas offers an exciting journey of flavor discovery that proves to be an endless delight. The flavors in this tea are well balanced and lean towards sweet and floral notes. It’s well-loved for its smooth honey sweetness, laced with light floral notes.
Brewing Guide: Brew tea at 95ºC - steep for 3-5 minutes. Try multiple infusions (let the tea steep for approximately 15 seconds longer on each subsequent infusion).
