Description: Also known as longevity eyebrow or sow mee, Shou Mei is harvested later & has fewer tips & more leaf than other white teas. Shoumei is a white tea that is produced from naturally withered upper leaf and tips, with a stronger flavor reminiscent of lighter Oolong teas. It is mostly grown in the Fujian Province in China.
The large, brown-hued leaves steep to a yellow-orange infusion. This smooth, earthy cuppa with mellow, nutty notes & sweet finish is sure to delight tea enthusiasts. A fruity furry white tea that is a chaotic mix of tips and upper leaf, it has a stronger flavor than other white teas, similar to Oolong. It is plucked later than Bai Mu Dan hence the tea may be darker in color. Carefully gathered and dried in the early days of spring, this white tea from Fuding in Fujian Province is one of the most revered teas in China. Aged after oxidation, this tea offers a dark, full brew with an earthy taste. The cup has a subtle sweetness and is well-balanced, with delicate walnut flavor overtones.
This tea is smooth and delicate with plenty of Mango flavors. A taste sensation for any white tea lover, it combines Shou Mei with the gentle scent of real Mango fruits. A perfect tea for those new to the white tea family. Shou Mei white is a bolder tasting brew, due to using the lower down leaves which are more mature and thus more rich in fruity flavors rather than the more common floral tones.
Our Mango White tea is formulated with the aged white tea and dried mango. As a result of this, the tea exhibits milder yet mellow and smoother sweetness with hints of cherry in taste. The unique Mango White Tea not only offers a well-balanced sweetness and rich tropical exotic refreshing aroma but the combined benefits from mango and white tea. Enjoy the fine romantic white tea.
