Product Overview
Qi Lan is a very mild Wuyi Oolong tea, it has an obvious sweet and nutty aroma. It has a highly aromatic fragrance and a lighter floral taste than most other Wuyi Oolongs. The colour of the steeped leaves is a very light green, much greener than other Wuyi teas.
The tea has a sweet, woody and roasted flavour. The tea makes a yellow liquor, which has noticeable difference from traditionally roasted Rou Gui and Shui Xian. Qi Lan is more fragrant than other Yan Cha, lighter taste just as it is a combination of Yan Cha and Tie Guan Yin. Qi Lan is produced in Guandong province as well as Fujian province. Wuyi Qilan is a typical Yan Cha from Fujian which has different quality and taste than Guangdong Qi Lan.
