Product Overview

Tea resin, or Cha Gao, is a rare and ancient method of tea-making that involves slow-cooking tea leaves until it turns into a thick paste and then dried into a resin. It is a kind of instant tea in small chunk form that dissolves within a few minutes to create a strong, smooth, and complex-flavored pitcher of pu-erh tea. This unique tea form was made mostly as a delicacy for the ruling classes and the imperial court due to its labor-intensive preparation process.

Distinctive Flavor and Aroma: Each pu-erh tea resin has a seafood flavor which is characteristic of Menghai pu-erh tea. Made from aged pu-erh tea, the resulting tea soup appears dark & thick. It offers a mellow and smooth taste, with a hint of mushroom.

Health Benefits: Pu-erh tea is believed to provide various health benefits, being rich in antioxidants and beneficial for digestion. Additionally, it also does well in nourishing the stomach.

With each piece of mini pu-erh tea resin being capable of brewing a pot of concentrated tea, it is an excellent choice for gatherings. You can share this healthy puerh tea with friends or family members anytime, anywhere.

Brewing Guide: Remove foil wrapping. Place tea resin into a cup, then pour boiling water into the cup. Stir if necessary to accelerate the dissolving of the tea resin. Enjoy your premium instant tea. Add or reduce water to control the desired strength of the puerh tea infusion.

Tips: It is normal for Pu-erh resin to be covered with white frost, which is not mold.

It’s really the best way to drink Pu’erh when you are in travel or in a hurry. It’s soft, sweet and you know you’re drinking a real Pu’erh. No bitterness in this one and I like so much. I would like to find more Cha Gao on your site, like Jingmai Mountain for example. I just suggest it
