Product Overview
Authentic Jun Shan Yin Zhen was only made on the island of Jun Shan. It was originally produced only on Junshan Island (0.98 km2) of DongTing Lake. The unique environment and climate conditions produce a particular quality of these tea leaves not found elsewhere. The islands limited production contributed to the tea’s value, such that it was once used only by the Chinese emperors. Although production has since been extended to the surrounding areas, this sample pack is from the Junshan brand, it is essential to maintain the production of tea that is only from Junshan Island.
From Junshan Island in the Hunan Province of China, this beautiful Jun Shan Yin Zhen yellow tea boasts very beautiful sage downy green and silvery buds. The dry aroma is melon and maybe a little muscatel. Cup is creamy, and light and really looks like a nice Silver Needle, however, the cup also offers hints of toastiness and a soft muscat grape-like fruitiness. Very complex and layered. Just lovely.
4 individually wrapped bags that are convenient to carry, 5 grams each pack.
