Product Overview
This tea is from the Wuyi Mountain region of Fujian province. Wuyi tea is famous for its clean taste and fascinating complexity. This particular example is grown in the mineral-rich soils of the famous Wuyishan area of Fujian, China. While this tea is processed as a black tea – meaning that it is fully oxidized – it has the complex, fruity character of a dark oolong.
The leaves are carefully hand-picked by farmers in early April and are processed as black tea. They are small, tight and twisted in shape and are dark in color. When processed, they resemble elegant, lengthy twists, like delicate little branches. This kind of tea uses Wuyi rock tea species as raw materials. But when it comes to processing, it's different. In terms of fermentation degree, it is more fermented than ordinary rock tea. However, strictly comparing the process of black tea, it is obvious that it deliberately reduces the degree of fermentation and retains the characteristic aroma of this highly fragrant variety. Moreover, there was no roasting in the later stage. It fully displays the sweet and soft flavor commonly found in black tea. This is the root of the birth of "black tea flavor" rock tea.
Candy black is a tea with a peach aroma, made from high-fragrant varieties, and is sweet and mellow. The tea creates a bright gold-yellow liquor. It gives an infusion with a floral aroma and an intense body, with sweet and enveloping fruity notes, without bitterness or astringency. The scent is incredibly floral and fruity. The flavor is much the same and is cooling in the mouth, rousing the palette and the senses. This tea has a light to medium body. This tea has a unique rich and sweet taste that lingers pleasantly in the mouth after drinking.
