Product Overview
Established during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), Wuyuan County, in the city of Shangrao, boasts a history of over 1,000 years. with at least 50 old villages, it is located northeast of Jiangxi Province, and near Mt Huangshan and Jingdezhen. Because of its remote location, Wuyuan has maintained its original features for decades in terms of its natural environment, traditional lifestyles, ancient customs and typical Hui-style architecture. The village is widely hailed as the most scenic of China’s countryside.
This tea is made from old trees growing in the wild Dazhangshan mountainous area of Wuyuan, Jiangxi, at 1300 meters elevation. The natural ecological environment in the area provides ideal growing conditions for black tea cultivation, free from pollutants and chemicals. The decomposing wild fruits and fallen leaves in this area give sufficient nutrients to the trees growing in this soil for hundreds of years.
It features long, stylish leaves, well-crafted into a robust, hearty black tea. The tea leaves overflow with taste and aroma that feels alive even after numerous infusions. The wild bush black has a rich, smooth and mellow taste, followed by a lingering sensation of sweetness. The Wild Black makes an excellent breakfast tea due to its full-bodied flavor and ability to pair with milk.
Brewing Guide: put 5 grams of tea in a teapot, then pour 85-90°C boiled water into the teapot. standard steeping time is 30 seconds. With a short steeping time, the tea will be light and sweet, perfect to drink plainly. With a longer steeping time, we advise adding milk, honey or lemon. This tea can be brewed for several rounds.
