Product Overview
Genmaicha Powder, also known as brown rice tea powder, is a mix of Sencha green tea powder and toasted Mochi rice powder from Japan. You can now make Genmaicha easily at home or add a nutty flavor to dishes using our Genmaicha Powder. An aromatic blend of steamed tea leaves and roasted rice, Genmaicha is one of Japan's most popular varieties of tea. Genmaicha Powder is very popular among busy sushi restaurants because it is easy to brew. While the more traditional whole-leaf Gernmaicha is ideal to be brewed into a hot or cold tea, this powdered version mixes perfectly with any milk into a delicious latte and it's easy to incorporate into cakes and fillings for green tea desserts with an extra twist of flavor given by the roasted rice.
It has the mellow taste of green tea and the perfume of perfectly roasted rice. It has a gentle taste, mellow aroma, is easy to drink, and is light yellow in color. The flavor is robust and full-bodied with a fresh green tea fragrance complemented by the nutty and cereal notes of toasted rice. Not bitter at all. A low-mid caffeine option for a relaxing mid-afternoon break that is good for your immune system, helps promote weight loss as well as boosts your energy and mood!
