Product Overview

Our Jasmine Er Mei Que She Green features a base tea grown at the Er Mei Mountain, Sichuan province, prized for its high mountain character and elegant sweetness. Er Mei Green Tea is obtained by selecting from high-altitude gardens on Mt. Emei only the bud and apical leaf during the early spring season. The slightly curved and pointed pure buds are handpicked. Due to the young buds, Er Mei Que She is even healthier than other green teas. It contains more antioxidants.

We scent fragrant, vegetal green tea leaves seven times with night-blooming jasmine to make this delicate tea. Jasmine flowers gently cover the tea until their scent is fully absorbed. With the sweet-scented aroma of the jasmine flower, this stands as being an excellent therapeutic choice.

Once infused, Er Mei Que She releases fresh, sweet vegetable aromas, such as peas, broccoli, and baby carrots, as well as strong jasmine notes. In the cup, the liquor is soft yellow, smooth on the palate with just a slight astringency. The beautiful floral notes of jasmine permeate the infusion while the nectar-like sweetness sings in the background. It is robust in flavor without being overpowering. It then very quickly transforms into a very sweet taste after a few brewings. It turns out to be a tea with a distinct vegetal sweetness and combined with a fresh feel on the palate. The jasmine is gentle and ever-present leaving little doubt concerning the quality of the leaves.

This stylish blend, with its deep, sunny fragrance and timeless elegance, also has the good taste to be entirely natural! This high-grade, fragrant, and flavorful green tea has amazing aromas that will immediately transport you to the flower gardens of Asia.

Brewing Guide: For best results brew in a tall glass and fill with water before adding the leaves. Too high a water temperature would burn the leaves, and the tea would taste bitter. 2g (1 tsp) per 350ml cup, 80°c water, infuse for 2-3 mins till the leaves absorb enough water to start to sink, enjoy the tea till it's halfway, add more hot water and continue.
