Product Overview
This Yunnan Fengqing Spring Honey Aroma Ancient Tree Black Tea comes from the core region of Fengqing County, one of the most historically authentic and respected origins of Dianhong. The tea trees grow at an elevation of around 2,300 meters, deep in high-mountain forests where the ecology remains remarkably pristine. With clean air, untouched surroundings, and large day-night temperature differences, the ancient trees grow slowly and accumulate a rich concentration of nutrients. Their thick, mature leaves form the foundation of this tea’s exceptional depth, purity, and unmistakable high-mountain character.
Unlike mass-produced factory teas that rely on mechanized harvesting, large-scale blending, and aggressive processing, this tea is made directly by local farmers in small quantities. Fresh leaves are handpicked, lightly withered, gently rolled, and carefully oxidized using traditional methods. No artificial fragrance, no industrial blending, and no heavy roasting are involved. The intention is simple: to keep the original taste, aroma, and inner substance of the ancient tree leaves intact. Every step is taken to maintain the purity and authenticity of the raw material, ensuring the tea retains its natural complexity rather than the flat, uniform taste often found in mass-market Dianhong.
The aroma is the most outstanding feature of this tea. The dry leaves release a naturally sweet honey fragrance with soft fruity undertones the moment the package is opened. Once brewed, the scent becomes deeper and more layered: honeyed sweetness, ripe fruit notes, and a clean wild-mountain aroma rise together from the cup. This is not the simple, surface-level aroma of factory teas; instead, it carries the depth and structural richness only ancient trees growing in untouched high-mountain environments can produce.
The tea liquor is exceptionally smooth, soft, and gentle on the palate. It contains no harshness, no bitterness, and no dryness. The first infusions emphasize a clear honey sweetness, followed by a round, mellow middle section where the body becomes richer and more velvety. Later infusions remain fresh and pleasantly sweet, with a clean returning sweetness that lingers in the throat. Thanks to the high concentration of natural compounds in ancient tree leaves, this tea offers excellent endurance. Even after many infusions, the flavor stays stable, sweet, and well-balanced—something mass-produced teas rarely achieve.
Another advantage is authenticity and consistency. Since this tea is sourced directly from local farmers and made from single-origin ancient tree leaves, every batch maintains the same purity and quality. There is no risk of low-grade material being blended in, no hidden substitutes, and no unstable flavor. You can purchase larger quantities with confidence, knowing the tea is genuine, clean, and consistent from beginning to end.
Overall, this tea is carefully selected and offered by Dragon Tea House. It captures everything that makes Fengqing’s high-mountain ancient trees so prized: a clean ecological environment, high elevation, slow-growing ancient trees with rich inner substance, and careful farmer-made craftsmanship. It delivers prominent natural honey aroma, gentle fruit notes, a strong wild-mountain energy, smooth and soothing taste, and remarkable durability through multiple infusions. It is an ideal choice for drinkers who appreciate honest, authentic, high-quality Dianhong with true origin character and guaranteed purity.
